In an increasingly complex and rapidly evolving world, education must move beyond traditional disciplinary boundaries to equip learners with the skills and mindsets necessary for innovation. STEAM education—an integrated approach that combines Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics—offers a transformative framework to foster creativity, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary problem-solving. This conceptual paper explores the potential of STEAM education as a catalyst for nurturing innovation through a carefully designed interdisciplinary educational framework. The paper begins by highlighting the growing importance of STEAM in global education discourse, emphasizing its ability to engage students in holistic and meaningful learning experiences. Interdisciplinary learning is presented as the core of the STEAM approach, breaking down silos between disciplines to encourage deeper cognitive connections and real-world relevance.
