Abstract

One of the most challenging criteria of the present education system is keeping up positive mental health among adolescent students. So, this study was done to measure the effects of Psychodrama Training on the mental health well-being of the adolescent higher secondary students. A total of 100 samples were collected from 4 higher secondary level schools of Kolkata and Howrah region. Mean, SD and t test were used to analyze the data. The development of post test scores towards better mental health revealed that Psychodrama Training proved to be an important instrument for the development of Mental Health of the Adolescent Higher Secondary Level Students. No significant difference was observed based on gender on the development of Mental Health of the Adolescent Higher Secondary Level Students after getting the Psychodrama training process whereas the Rural Adolescent Higher Secondary Students showed lower level of development of Mental Health by Psychodrama Training than the adolescent Higher Secondary Level Students of Urban Areas.
