Education policies are conceived as blueprints for transformation, aiming to foster inclusive, equitable, and quality learning environments. However, the gap between policy design and actual classroom practice remains a persistent challenge. This chapter explores the dynamics of policy implementation in contemporary educational settings, examining how macro-level visions are translated into micro-level practices within schools. Drawing from multidisciplinary perspectives—education theory, leadership studies, public policy, and organizational behaviour—it unpacks the complex ecosystem that influences implementation: the role of school leadership, teacher agency, institutional culture, resource allocation, and community engagement. The chapter concludes by advocating for more participatory, context-sensitive, and feedback-driven implementation frameworks that empower educators and stakeholders as co-constructors of change. By demystifying the process of implementation, this chapter offers practical insights for policymakers, school leaders, and practitioners committed to turning educational visions into transformative realities.Published
