This chapter advocates a shift away from a tool-centric view of digital literacy in response to ongoing technological advancements in education. Instead, it proposes an e-pedagogy that prioritizes human-centered learning, integrating technology with critical and ethical thinking alongside cultural awareness. It explores frameworks such as TPACK, SAMR, and Critical Digital Literacy, along with methodologies from Digital Humanities—including digital storytelling and textual analysis—to illustrate how these approaches foster reflective, socially responsible, and engaged learning. Emphasizing the values of inclusivity and empathy, the chapter also addresses concerns about the digital divide and cultural bias. Ultimately, it calls for a blended digital pedagogy that unites technological proficiency with socio-cultural sensitivity.Published
