Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic triggered transformative changes in global education systems, shifting traditional classrooms toward online, hybrid, and technology-enabled models. This chapter analyses key pedagogical developments such as the rise of digital learning, flipped classrooms, reflective learning approaches, and the redefined role of teachers as facilitators and digital mentors. It also explores assessment innovations that emphasize formative and competency-based evaluations over rote methods. Additionally, the chapter investigates strategies for creating a more equitable, resilient, and inclusive education system by addressing the digital divide, integrating affordable EdTech, and promoting curriculum reform and teacher empowerment.
