Nutrition is a vital process for normal body functioning; it brings about processes required for carrying out day to day activities of life. Nutrition contains all sum total of steps from eating to excretion, to absorption, and final reaching to cells through transport and circulation. Adequate and optimum nutrition is essential for physical, cognitive and Behavioural development of an individual from at the time of infancy formation till adulthood. At every stage of life, nutrition plays an important for overall well-being. A poor or an insufficient diet result in impairment and disorders which affects the development, productivity and performance. Learning involves experiences which are attained, comprehended, and recalled for acquiring a particular skill or knowledge. Behaviour according to descriptive psychology can be explained as an action, effort or an attempt to bring about change in an existing situation in motion. Many researchers have investigated the complex interlink between nutrition, learning and behaviour. The following chapter will discuss about the impacts of nutrition on the learning and behaviour capacities.Published
