SPIRITUALLY INCLUSIVE PEDAGOGY: A HOLISTIC APPROACH TO EDUCATION

Abstract

The pursuit of meaning, purpose, connection, and inner calm are characteristics of learners' spiritual dimensions, which are integrated into educational practice through Spiritually Inclusive Pedagogy (SIP). The demand for inclusive education that recognizes a range of worldviews, including spiritual and religious expressions, has grown urgently as schools and colleges become more pluralistic. SIP meets the overall requirements of students by fostering moral growth, sympathetic comprehension, and in-depth introspection. It is based on humanistic, existentialist, transformative, and culturally sensitive frameworks. This essay examines the theoretical and philosophical underpinnings of SIP, lists important guidelines and implementation tactics, and evaluates the advantages and difficulties of the approach. It promotes an inclusive, secular approach that respects human diversity and improves educational experiences, while highlighting the distinction between spirituality and religiosity.
