The accelerated digital transformation of higher education has led universities across the world to adopt Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), machine learning, computer vision, robotics, and sensor technologies to modernize administrative systems and improve service efficiency. AI-driven administrative automation streamlines institutional processes by enhancing accuracy, reducing operational delays, and supporting predictive academic decision-making. Insights drawn from AI applications in technologically advanced industrial ecosystems reveal substantial parallels with the automation needs of higher education systems. This paper examines how core AI technologies—image recognition, machine learning algorithms, intelligent robotics, and IoT—can be integrated into academic administrative workflows, thereby strengthening digital governance. These applications enable smart campus management, automated scheduling systems, AI-proctored evaluations, digital verification of academic credentials, real-time resource monitoring, and advanced analytics for institutional planning. Through conceptual evaluation and comparative insights from broader AI research (Dakhia et al., 2025; Nath et al., 2024; Zhao et al., 2024), the study illustrates the transformative potential of AI in building efficient, transparent, responsive, and future-ready higher-education institutions.Published
