Abstract

The contemporary corporate and educational landscapes are undergoing rapid transformation. A decade ago, strong academic achievements and relevant work experience were considered the primary indicators of employability. In the present context, however, technical qualifications alone are no longer adequate for entering or advancing within the corporate world. Employers increasingly seek innovative, ethical, and self-directed individuals who possess strong soft skills, particularly communication competence. The lack of such abilities among job applicants has contributed to lower hiring rates across industries. Although soft skills are crucial, many management institutions remain hesitant to integrate them into their curricula. The present study highlights the importance of soft skills and emphasizes the necessity of cultivating them for professional advancement.
