Abstract

The present study examines the role of resilience as well as mental well-being for the promotion of overall mental health of school students. It is focussed on the interconnected benefactions of teachers, students and school administrators in creating a supportive and positive educational ecosystem. The study explains school-based programs like counselling, mindfulness, peer support initiatives and life skills training to foster emotional resilience. It also explores teachers’ various roles in nurturing safe classrooms, timely identification of mental health concerns, and social-emotional learning. Additionally, the study highlights parental involvement in emotional support, healthy coping strategies and guidance, concluding that co-operative as well as collaborative efforts are needed for students’ holistic development of mental health.
