Humans are social being. They love to develop, grow and nurture their body, mind and spirit inevitably in an integrated fashion to maintain harmony, to gain knowledge, to adapt with their surroundings in a more controlled way. By actively manipulating their environment, they regulate or control behaviour to maintain balance within mind, body and spirit as a unified whole. This holistic approach encompasses in-depth learning through related concepts, improved social and behavioural skills to promote subjective well-being, situational control, building resilience, calm and composed inner selves, practical real-world orientation. Integrated education not only discuss about physical strengths and habits but also inculcate mental and spiritual potentialities. It helps to promote a sense of fulfilment and contentment of happiness which lead one to be in the present non-judgementally while ignoring the future apprehension or past incidents. Integrated or holistic approach can be practiced via mindfulness, meditation, guided imagery, yoga, Tai Chi, relaxation training, breathing exercise, plasticising positivity, being self-aware and spiritual exploration through prayer, contemplation, exploring personal beliefs and values. Whole being education is more or less advantageous for overall growth and development of the individual that helps to maintain or reinstate the balance within self in fused manner.Published
