Abstract

The development of Indigenous and cultural learning approaches has failed to fully utilize artificial intelligence's (AI) revolutionary potential for education. Through research on language preservation, cultural curriculum development, and improved educational services for Indigenous students, the evaluation explores artificial intelligence's ability to close knowledge gaps. Through research measurements, the paper examines the possibilities and difficulties of using AI learning tools for language revitalization and culture-based technological development. Personalized learning software, digital storytelling platforms, and translation apps are examples of educational tools that have a lot of promise in the modern era. Because Indigenous people are underrepresented, data ownership issues lead to ethical complications, and algorithmic systems can lead to discrimination, AI research faces several obstacles. Some Indigenous communities find it challenging to implement AI because their teachers need better training and their digital infrastructure needs to be improved. The development of AI research should involve the indigenous people in the creation of impact models and ethical principles. Indigenous communities will be able to preserve their cultural heritage and provide inclusive education for students with the support of practical solutions targeted at increasing their authority. Both ethical development and cooperative collaboration between researchers and Indigenous people employing AI are essential for making significant progress in the field of Indigenous education.
