MOBILE LEARNING IN RURAL AND TRIBAL COMMUNITIES: STRENGTHENING HEALTHCARE AWARENESS

Abstract

In today’s evolving world, mobile health care services have notably influenced many aspects of our life. It is anticipated that mobile applications are vital for the delivery of health care services especially in rural and tribal communities. After pandemic mobile applications observed to be more effective among such communities. The primary goal of this chapter is to put a light on how mobile health applications contribute in rural as well tribal community. Information from various literature searches was analysed to enhance understanding of the mobile health application effect on rural and tribal communities specifically. We used databases like Google Scholar, PubMed, Science Direct and Scopus. The study’s findings suggest that the usage of mobile health application shows a substantial impact on public health. The potential benefits include rapid diagnosis of a disease, treatment, monitoring of chronic conditions and quick access to emergency situations.
