Abstract

The transformation of education in the 21st century necessitates a shift from content-centered instruction to learner-centered, human-centric approaches that prioritize holistic development. This chapter explores the conceptual foundations of human-centric pedagogy and its role in empowering learners through innovative practices. Emphasis is placed on personalized learning, experiential approaches, social-emotional learning, and technology integration as key drivers of holistic development. The chapter also examines the role of teachers, challenges in implementation, and future directions for education systems. Grounded in contemporary research and aligned with global educational frameworks, the chapter argues that human-centric practices are essential for nurturing well-rounded individuals capable of addressing complex global challenges.
