In the 21st century, physiotherapy education is undergoing a significant transformation in response to rapid technological advancements and evolving healthcare demands. Traditional teaching approaches are increasingly being replaced by interdisciplinary and skill-based models such as STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). This chapter explores the integration of design thinking within the STEAM framework to reimagine physiotherapy education. It highlights the role of emerging technologies, including biomechanics, wearable sensors, digital health platforms, and data analytics, in enhancing clinical reasoning and rehabilitation outcomes. The incorporation of design thinking fosters a human-centered approach by promoting empathy, creativity, and problem-solving in clinical practice. Furthermore, the chapter emphasizes the importance of evidence-based practice, data literacy, and interdisciplinary collaboration in preparing future physiotherapists. While this integrated approach offers numerous benefits, challenges such as curriculum restructuring, faculty training, and resource availability must be addressed. Overall, the STEAM framework combined with design thinking provides a holistic and innovative pathway for developing competent, adaptive, and patient-centered physiotherapy professionals.Published
