Abstract

In order to achieve general health and well-being, the ancient practice of yoga encourages the connection of the mind and body. To establish a balance between mental and physical processes, it incorporates breathing exercises (pranayama), physical positions (asanas), and meditation. The relationship between ideas, feelings, and physical processes is highlighted by the idea of mind-body harmony. Frequent yoga practice lowers stress, increases flexibility, sharpens focus, and fosters emotional stability. Yoga is becoming more widely acknowledged in contemporary medicine as a useful supplemental strategy for preserving overall health and averting a number of lifestyle-related illnesses. As a result, yoga is an effective method for attaining mental and physical equilibrium.
