Indian traditions emphasize community living ecological sensitivity, cultural rootedness and ethical values in shaping healthy personalities. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCFSE) 2023 advocate integration of Indian Knowledge Systems wellness education, experiential learning, environmental consciousness and value-based education into teaching-learning processes. Through herbal gardens, seasonal food awareness, reflective practices, community interaction and interdisciplinary activities educational institutions can help adolescents and women reconnect with healthy lifestyles, emotional balance, cultural wisdom and sustainable living practices. Dincharya and Ritucharya therefore emerge as practical approaches for promoting women’s wellness, adolescent development, ecological responsibility and holistic well-being. Women and adolescents today increasingly face stress, anxiety, hormonal imbalance, poor sleep, unhealthy eating habits, digital addiction, emotional instability and reduced physical activity. Women often experience concerns related to menstruation, nutritional deficiencies, reproductive health, emotional stress and work-life imbalance. Balanced seasonal diets, yoga, pranayama, meditation, adequate rest and traditional herbs help support hormonal balance, immunity, emotional stability and overall wellness. Adolescents face challenges such as excessive screen exposure, social isolation, obesity, body-image pressure, poor concentration and academic stress. Dincharya and Ritucharya encourage discipline, healthy sleep cycles, balanced food habits, mindfulness, physical fitness, emotional resilience and environmental awareness through yoga meditation, seasonal eating and nature-based living.Published
