Outcome-Based Learning is a way of teaching that focuses on what students can actually do after they finish a course. In physiotherapy school Outcome-Based Learning is really important because physiotherapists need to show that they know what they are doing not in theory but also in real life situations. They have to be good at talking to patients making decisions and doing the right thing. The old way of teaching, where teachers just talk and students listen does not work well. This is because it just makes students memorize things for a test of really learning how to do things. Outcome-Based Learning is different it makes sure that students can actually do things on their own after they finish the course. This part of the book talks about what Outcome-Based Learning's how it works and how it is used in physiotherapy school. It also talks about how Outcome-Based Learning helps students become good at taking care of patients making decisions and learning throughout their lives. The book explains why it is so important to make sure that what students are learning in class is what they will actually need to know when they are working as physiotherapists. Outcome-Based Learning makes students take a role in their learning think about what they are doing and always try to get better. Students who learn this way are better, at handling situations and changing the way they do things when they need to. Even though it can be hard to start using Outcome-Based Learning because teachers need training and the curriculum needs to be changed it is a way to make sure that physiotherapy students get a good education and become good at their jobs.Published
