Student-centered learning is an educational approach that focuses on the active participation, independence, and individual learning needs of students. In physiotherapy education, this method encourages students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, clinical reasoning, communication skills, and self-directed learning habits. Unlike traditional teacher-centered methods, student-centered learning promotes interactive teaching strategies such as problem-based learning, group discussions, case studies, peer learning, reflective practice, and practical skill development. The use of student-centered learning in physiotherapy helps students become more confident and competent healthcare professionals. It improves academic performance, enhances clinical decision-making, and increases student engagement and motivation. This chapter discusses the concept, principles, methods, advantages, challenges, and importance of student-centered learning in physiotherapy education. It also highlights the role of educators in creating an effective learning environment that supports active participation and lifelong learning among physiotherapy students.Published
