Abstract

Digital education has revolutionized physiotherapy training by combining technology-enhanced learning with clinical practice. This chapter discusses key frameworks for digital education, their applications in blended learning, clinical reasoning, and self-directed study in physiotherapy curricula, and evaluates evidence demonstrating improved student outcomes. Although challenges such as digital inequality and faculty training persist, emerging technologies promise enhanced skill development. Overall, the chapter highlights the potential of combining online and offline learning to enrich physiotherapy education and better prepare students for modern healthcare practices.
