Abstract

Digital technologies are transforming healthcare delivery and education, creating new opportunities and responsibilities for physiotherapy professionals. As healthcare systems increasingly adopt telehealth, artificial intelligence (AI), electronic health records, wearable devices, and mobile health applications, physiotherapists must develop the competencies required to use these technologies effectively, ethically, and safely. Digital competence extends beyond technical skills and includes digital literacy, communication, data management, critical thinking, and professional decision-making.
