Teacher education is undergoing significant transformation due to rapid technological advancements, changing educational philosophies, globalization, and the evolving needs of twenty-first-century learners. The traditional models of teacher preparation are gradually shifting towards innovative, learner-centred, technology-integrated, and competency-based approaches. This paper examines the transformative trends in teacher education by exploring emerging paradigms such as digital pedagogy, artificial intelligence, blended learning, reflective practice, inclusive education, experiential learning, and continuous professional development. The study adopts a qualitative descriptive research approach based on the analysis of existing scholarly literature, policy documents, and educational frameworks. The findings reveal that effective teacher education requires integration of technological competencies, pedagogical innovation, ethical awareness, and lifelong learning approaches. Contemporary reforms emphasize preparing teachers as facilitators, researchers, and transformative agents capable of addressing diverse learning needs. The study highlights that sustainable transformation in teacher education depends on institutional support, policy implementation, digital infrastructure, and professional capacity building.Published
