Education plays a transformative role in improving the lives of orphan children by providing opportunities for personal growth, social inclusion, and economic empowerment. However, orphan children often face multiple barriers, including emotional trauma, educational disruption, financial hardship, social exclusion, and limited access to quality learning opportunities. These challenges necessitate comprehensive educational support systems that extend beyond conventional classroom teaching. This chapter explores the significance of mentoring, coaching, and continuing professional development (CPD) as integrated strategies for enhancing the educational experiences and holistic development of orphan children. It examines the conceptual foundations of mentoring and coaching, emphasizing their role in fostering academic achievement, emotional resilience, life skills, self-confidence, and positive social relationships. The chapter further highlights the importance of personalized learning support, psychosocial counselling, community participation, and technology-enabled educational interventions in creating inclusive learning environments for vulnerable children. Particular attention is given to the professional competencies required by teachers, mentors, caregivers, and educational leaders to effectively address the diverse academic and socio-emotional needs of orphan learners through child-centred, trauma-informed, and inclusive pedagogical practices.Published
